We also have affiliates around the world who help us deliver the Game, for instance, to process payments in relation to the Game, and we may be required by a court or legal obligation to disclose certain information in some circumstances. Our servers are located in the United States, Singapore, Germany, and Japan. Your information can be accessed from outside of where you live by our support, engineering and other teams around the world, including Singapore. Certain personal information processed for marketing purposes may also be stored and processed by our third party SDK Firebase’s servers in the United States, Adjust SDK’s servers in Frankfurt, Amsterdam and the United States, AppsFlyer SDK’s servers in Belgium, Ireland and the United States, or Facebook SDK’s servers in the United States. 3. The Types of Personal Information We Use

The following is a high-level summary of the types of personal information we use:

i. Information you provide to us (either directly or through a third party)

 

If you access the Game, we will process the following personal data:

 

· Account registration information: You give us information about you when you set up an account to register for the Game: (i) your email address, email verification code, language, region, username, password, IP address and Open ID if you register and log in with your email, or (ii) information we import from your connected Steam or social media account (Apple, Google Play, Facebook, Twitter and Line) if you register or log in via your Steam or social media account, including your user ID, name or nickname, user token, Open ID and your profile picture (if any). If you use standard Facebook Login, your actual account information will be imported. If you use Facebook Login for Gaming, dummy account information will be used. If you login via your Facebook account, you may choose to give us your friends list as well. You also provide us with information when you set up your profile for the Game.

· Survey Information: If you choose to participate in a survey about the Game, you may be asked to provide certain personal information, such as your gender (optional), country or region of residency (optional), income information (optional), email address (optional), phone number (optional), nickname (optional) and any other information you choose to provide as part of the survey response. We will use IMUR Survey services for the Game. We will use your survey response for the purpose of improving the Game services. If you choose to participate in an in-game survey regarding the Game, we will redirect you to IMUR to take the survey and will only process your aggregated and anonymised survey responses once you complete the survey on IMUR Survey. The IMUR Survey privacy policy will apply to certain data processed in connection with your participation in any survey regarding the Game. ii. Information about you generated as part of the Game

 

We automatically collect certain data from you when you access the Game, namely:

 

· Guest log-in information: Guest ID.

· Game data (including log information): Your Open ID, IP address, game log information and gameplay statistics (e.g. player level, in-game performance, purchased items and virtual currency).

 

· For the purposes of push notifications (applicable to mobile version only): Device token, Firebase Cloud Messaging token, device dimensions and in-app events.

 

· Chat data: If you use text or audio chat service, we will process your Open ID, role ID and chat data when you communicate with other users in-game.

· Voice message data: If you use our voice message service, we will process your voice message data, device information and log-related information.

· Customer service information: Information collected when you communicate with customer service, when you give us reviews or feedback, or otherwise provide information to us through the Game.

· GDOS information: Open ID, score, nickname, equipment, mail title, iVip level, Mail ID, iPayPlayer, and other role-related information used for Game operation and customer service purposes.

· Security-related information: Open ID, network type, device information and application information.

· Game server navigation information: Open ID.

· Game update service information: Mobile phone ROM (for mobile version) or operating system version (for PC version).

· Crash-related information: Device information, process name, network type, SDK information, application information and buried data reporting.

· Eligibility information: Open ID, token, region, nickname and email address.

· In-app purchase information (only via Google Play and App Store): Open ID, role ID, country, device information (device model, IDFV, IP address, network type, network monitoring data and client exports IP) and other information (country currency, SDK version and application version).

· Gift redemption information: Open ID, role ID, details of redemption (time stamps and logs, redemption code used, items redeemed).

· Game analytics information: User region and device information.

· User acquisition analytics information (applicable to PC version only): PC UUID, browser, time zone, resolution, IP address, language and other common information for data reporting.

· Account deletion information: your email address, region, open ID, and user token to allow you to delete your user account upon your request.

We automatically collect certain data from you via third-party SDKs when you use the mobile version of the Game services for marketing purposes, namely:

 

· Your Open ID, user ID, nickname, app-instance ID, user device dimensions and in-app events.

· Your technical information, technical identifiers and information regarding your engagement with our advertising campaigns, and the platforms from which you have downloaded the Game.

· Your contact information (for matching purposes only) and event data (information about you and the actions that you take in relation to the Game if you log in via Facebook).

4. How We Use Your Personal Information

We use this information to create your account for the Game in accordance with your request.

Necessary to perform our contract with you to provide the Game.

Facebook friends list

If you choose to log-in using Facebook and requests us to do so, we will import the Facebook Open ID, profile picture, and name of the friends from your Facebook profile so that you can connect with your friends.

Information generated as part of the Game

· identify user logs;

· store your game data with your profile; and

· allow you to connect to our server.

Gameplay statistics: player level, in-game performance (combat effectiveness, equipment and combat duration), purchased items and virtual currency

We use this information to allow you to play the game, to document and save details of your use for future gameplay and to provide you with feedback and information about your gameplay and progress.

We use this information to allow you to connect to our server.

Character ID, game account (used when you log in to the Game), user nickname, country code, device system version, device brand, device model, device manufacturer, device name, screen resolution, screen orientation, CPU model, GPU information, RAM, client exports IP, phone memory, login channel ID, operator name, network type, signal strength and buried data reporting

For PC version:

· to improve our services, including the functionality of the Game;

· for security and verification purposes; and

· to maintain a record of log-in and actions of the user account.

We use this information to send you notifications about game events and updates.

It is in our legitimate interest to notify you about announcements, updates or information relating to the Game.

Chat data: Open ID, role ID, text and/or audio data

We use this information to facilitate your communications with other users.

Necessary to perform our contract with you to facilitate communication between users where you seek to use chat services.

Chat data: Open ID, role ID, text messages

We use this information to filter abusive language or other uses of chat in violation of our End-user License Agreement.

It is in our legitimate interests to ensure the integrity of the Game and protect users from prohibited conduct.

Voice message data: voice message, device information (device OS version, device manufacturer, RAM, system time, device model, device name, CPU model, network type, IP address) and log-related information (Open ID, room ID, SDK version, chat room status, packet loss rate, and other log specific code such as API call sequence and tracking logs)

We use this information to facilitate your communications with other users, solve crashes and optimize compatibility.

Necessary to perform our contract with you to facilitate communication between users where you seek to use voice messaging services.

Customer service information:

· Via app: name, Open ID, device ID, application version, battery level, wifi strength, free space on phone, network type, iOS version, platform, network type, carrier, country code and photo (optional)

· Via website: name, Open ID, device ID and email address (optional) Details of ticket, complaint and handling

We use this information to:

· provide troubleshooting, such as addressing and remediating technical issues and bugs; and

· improve our services.

Necessary to perform our contract with you to support the Game.

GDOS information: OpenID, score, nickname, equipment, mail title, iVip level, Mail ID, iPayPlayer, and other role-related information (such as game weapons and equipments)

We use this information to access, amend and delete information relating to users for Game operation and customer service purposes.

Necessary to perform our contract with you to provide and support the Game.

Security-related information:

Open ID, network type, device information (including brand, CPU architecture, root status, unique identifier of ROM, mask resolution, system startup time, whether running in simulator, international coding and language, remaining memory, remaining built-in and external SD card space, installed APK information, running process information, host file, SD card application cache directory file name list) and application information (including package name, application version, startup time and process name)

For PC version:

Open ID, network type, device information (including brand, CPU architecture, unique identifier of ROM, mask resolution, system startup time, international coding and language, remaining memory, running process information, host file) and application information (including package name, application version, startup time and process name)

· provide a fair environment;

· solve crashes and optimize compatibility;

· filter profanity;

· detect use of plug-ins or other cheating behaviour; and

· detect the existence of domain name hijacking.

It is in our legitimate interest ensure the security of our Game, to provide a fair environment for players and to improve the Game.

For mobile version:

· user region: country, province, city, carrier ID, region and IP address

· device information: application version, application ID, battery information, WiFi strength, available space, network type, OS version, OS name, carrier, country code, device language, device resolution, brand, manufacturer, device model, total RAM, total ROM, CPU information, GPU information, game frame information, mobile signal strength, network round trip time, network bytes received/sent, login step event information and XWID (generated based on device information)

For PC version:

· user region: country, province, city, carrier ID, region and IP address

· device information: CPU name, CPU core, CPU frequency, GPU name, total RAM, total ROM, device model, device brand, screen width, screen height, OS type, OS version, SDK version and network type

We use this information for general game analytics to review and improve game performance.

 

It is in our legitimate interest to improve the Game service.

Marketing data (applicable to mobile version only):

· Collected via Firebase: your app-instance ID, user device dimensions and in-app events.

· Collected via AppsFlyer: your technical information, technical identifiers (IP address, user agent, IDFA, Google Advertising ID and Open ID) and information regarding your engagement with our advertising campaigns.

· Collected via Facebook: your contact information (for matching purposes only) and event data (information about you and the actions that you take in relation to the Game if you log in via Facebook).

· Collected via Adjust: your technical data including pseudonoymized (hashed) IP address, mobile identifiers (IDFA and Google Advertising ID) and engagement information.

If you click on a link or interact with content that advertises the Game, we store this information and that advertisement and certain marketing analytics data with your profile in order to measure the performance of our advertisements.

It is in our legitimate interests to use this information to monitor the success of our advertising and marketing programs.

User acquisition analytics information (applicable to PC version only): your PC UUID, browser, time zone, resolution, IP address, language and other common information for data reporting such as system version

 

We use this information to understand the user acquisition process, which platform users who downloaded the game originated from, and users’ engagement with our advertisements on these platforms.

It is in our legitimate interests to use this information to monitor the success of our advertising and marketing programs.

Game server navigation information: Open ID

We use this information to allow you to select which server to connect to.

Necessary to perform our contract with you to provide and support the Game.

Game update service information:

· remediate technical issues and bugs.

Survey information: gender (optional), country or region of residency (optional), income information (optional), email address (optional), phone number (optional), nickname (optional) and any other information you choose to provide as part of the survey response.

To the extent you choose to participate in an in-game survey regarding the Game, we will redirect you to IMUR Survey to take the survey and the IMUR Survey privacy policy will apply to certain data processed in connection with your participation in the survey. We use this information to better understand our users and to improve the Game services.

We use this information in order to process any payments you make within the Game.

We use this information to facilitate the redemption of in-game gifts / props by users.

5. How We Store and Share Your Personal Information

Our corporate group operates around the world. Pursuant to our contract with you to provide you with the Game, your personal information will be processed on servers that may not be located where you live. No matter where our servers are located, we take appropriate measures to safeguard your rights in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Our servers for the Game are located in the United States, Germany, Singapore and Japan.

In addition, your information can be accessed from outside of where you live by our support, engineering and other teams around the world, including Singapore.

Only where necessary will we share your personal information with third parties. Situations where this occur are:

· Third parties that provide services in support of the Game, including a provider of cloud services that process information identified in this policy on their servers in the United States for the purpose of providing the Game, a customer service provider that processes customer service information identified in this policy in the United States and Singapore, a push notification service provider that processes push notification information identified in this policy in the United States and third party SDKs that process marketing data identified in this policy in Belgium (AppsFlyer), Germany (Adjust), Ireland (AppsFlyer), the Netherlands (Adjust) and the United States (Firebase, Adjust, Facebook) for the purpose of providing marketing and advertisements and monitoring the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns. All companies providing services for us are prohibited from retaining, using, or disclosing your personal information for any purpose other than providing us with their services.

· Companies within our corporate group who process your personal information in order to operate the Game and process payments for us. All related group companies may only use your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

· Regulators, judicial authorities and law enforcement agencies, and other third parties for safety, security, or compliance with the law. There are circumstances in which we are legally required to disclose information about you to authorities, such as to comply with a legal obligation or processes, enforce our terms, address issues relating to security or fraud, or protect our users. These disclosures may be made with or without your consent, and with or without notice, in compliance with the terms of valid legal process such as a subpoena, court order, or search warrant. For example, in certain jurisdictions this can comprise personal information we process on the basis of your consent (e.g., survey information) or pursuant to our contract with you (e.g., account name), as described above in the section “How We Use Your Personal Information”. We will provide further information to you about transferring this data if you make such a request.

Correction

You may have the right to correct personal information we hold that is inaccurate. You can access the personal information we hold about you by logging into your Game account.

Erasure

You may be able to delete your account, or remove certain personal information, by logging into your Game account. We may need to retain personal information if there are valid grounds under data protection laws for us to do so (for example, for the defence of legal claims or freedom of expression) but we will let you know if that is the case. Where you have requested that we erase personal information that has been made available publicly in the Game and there are grounds for erasure, we will use reasonable steps to try to tell others that are displaying the personal information or providing links to the personal information to erase it too.

Restriction of Processing to Storage Only

You may have a right to require that we stop processing the personal information we hold about you (other than for storage purposes in certain circumstances). Data Destruction

Personal information is retained in accordance with the data retention periods as detailed in the section “Data Retention”. With the exception of the personal information set out below, personal information, which has fulfilled the purpose for which it was collected or used, and has reached the period of time during which personal information was to be possessed, will be destroyed in an irreversible way. Personal information stored in electronic files will be deleted safely in an irreversible way by using technical methods, and printed information will be destroyed by shredding or incinerating such information.

Your Rights

You may exercise rights related to the protection of personal information by requesting access to your personal information or the correction, deletion or suspension of processing of your personal information, etc. pursuant to applicable laws such as the Personal Information Protection Act (“PIPA”).

You may also exercise these rights through your legal guardian or someone who has been authorised by you to exercise the right. However, in this case, you must submit a power of attorney to us in accordance with the Enforcement Regulations of the PIPA.

Upon your request, we will take necessary measures without delay in accordance with applicable laws such as the PIPA.

You can also withdraw your consent or demand a suspension of the personal information processing at any time.

Additional Use and Provision of Personal Information

In accordance with the PIPA, we may use or provide personal information within the scope of reasonably related to the initial purpose of the collection, in consideration of whether disadvantages have been caused to data subjects and whether necessary measures have been taken to secure such as encryption, etc. We will determine with due care whether to use or provide personal information in consideration of general circumstances including relevant laws and regulations such as the PIPA, purpose of use or provision of personal information, how personal information will be used or provided, items of personal information to be used or provided, matters to which data subjects provided consent or which were notified/disclosed to data subjects, impact on data subjects upon the use or provision, and measures taken to protect subject information.
